Happy Birthday Kaylee!

Happy 26th Birthday Kaylee!! We love you so much. It's hard to believe the Lows will be moving back home at the end of the summer (seriously, how did over 2 1/2 years go by so quickly?). Since this is our only Michigan summer, we've decided to party hard! Kaylee's party was no exception! We kicked it off with a small BBQ, then a few friends came over for more food (of course), cake and games. It was awesome. The kids were also fantastic. We had one playpen in the bathroom, one in the closet and one in the bedroom...and all three babies slept like angels!!

If you need a "pick me up," watch the Oreo Challenge.

Sadie and Zoe are in matching dresses (thank you Grant and Cami).

Summer at the Zoo

We had tons of fun at the Zoo! Jade sported the sweet sunglasses her Uncle Shaune gave her last summer.

The weather was fabulous...

and so was the company!

Jared, Jenny, Eli and Silas came back to Michigan for Jared's grad (the first grad out of Devin's law school friends). How much longer does Devin still have? Well, that's beside the point!

We really missed Jenny and Jared (and the boys), so it was nice to see them at the Zoo. They also came over for Sunday brunch (we had crepes)!

Let's Go Fly a Kite!

Last week we went to an AMAZING church playgroup. Heidi, the organizer, had centers for all the kids to decorate their kites (a center with stickers, one with crayons, one with glitter glue, etc.). Then the kids went out to fly their lunch-bag kites. Once they tired out a little bit, the kids went back inside to read a kite book and make a kite snack.

Some of the moms taking in the rays ;)

I thought the kite snack was super creative: graham wafer square for the kite, peanut butter for sticking on chocolate chips, mini marshmallows and sprinkles, and shoelace licorice for the kite string.

Family Outing

We went for a family bike ride and rollerblade the other night. Devin wore Zoe in the Bjorn and pulled Jade in the bike trailer...I traveled FAR behind on rollerblades. Turns out it has been almost 10 years since I've gone for a good blade. I guess I'm not as good as I remembered ;) We decided it would be better if I also biked next time (Devin seemed to think it would have been faster if I'd walked. In my defense, he took me across several grass hills and a ton of gravel...what was a girl supposed to do?)

On a positive note, the scenery was great (and we found a park to play at). Jade also got to see her first caterpillar of the season.

Check out these pink beauties. Devin's grandma bought them for Devin before he was born (I guess she was hoping for a grand-daughter). 30 years old and in perfect condition...Zoe seems to like them!

Date Night ;)

Kaylee and Mike babysat the kids while we went out for a date...thank you Lows!! Dates are such a treat. You know, a reason to get dressed up cute and spend some quality time with the one you love most!

Zoe is questioning it ;)

My Girls

Zoe is 4 months old!!!

Like Kaylee said, I wish I looked that good in underwear and gumboots!

No One Can Make Zoe Laugh Like Jade

Activity Days

This is "Classic Erin" on the phone, organizing an Activity Days activity. I seriously think I have the best calling in the world. Yes, I am an Activity Days Leader. I spend two nights a month with 8-11 year old girls from my church. We read the scriptures, do service projects, make crafts, cook yummy food, and have A LOT OF FUN doing it! As a leader, my goal is to help the girls grow in areas such as: Learning and Living the Gospel, Serving Others, and Developing Talents. It is great to enjoy their sweet spirits and watch them mature.

My girls enjoy a "night out with Dad" when I'm gone to Activity Days...

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, Devin surprised me with a delicious breakfast and a cute container for my "bow stuff." I don't do tons of crafts, but every now and again I like to make the odd bow for my girls.
Thank you for spoiling me Devo...you're the best!

Yes, you see zebra ribbon in there!

And yes, my leopard pajama pants are hanging out in the background...some things never change (at least not wonderful things like leopard pants!)

Home Again!

It was great to get home and see Devin again (we had been gone a month!!)
As you can see, Devo got a new hydropack (complete with a a magnetic articulating bite valve...whatever the heck that means).

I know what it means. It means Devin has found his second true love :)

We "Spring Cleaned" (aka: ripped the house apart) for the first few days of Devin's week off. Then Devin told me he was picturing a little more "fun" during his holiday...so we went to the Zoo as a family, and then took Jade to a 3-D movie (How to Train Your Dragon).

Mother's Day playgroup

Everything was going good until I dropped my camera...and BROKE it (as you can see, the right side is blurry and the left side is clear). I cried and Devin smiled (the boy wanted a new camera).

Saying Good-Bye

It was VERY sad to say good-bye to everyone, especially Auntie Amy (because she's living in New Brunswick with Uncle Chance for 4 months).

Good-bye everyone! Love you! Hope to see you in the summer!
