I thought Devin was watching Jade...obviously not :)

If you're wondering about the picture below, well Devin and I only had 25 cents (so another mom pitched in 50 cents and our girls shared a ride!)

Cake Decorating

Marcela, Kaylee and I took a cake decorating class together. Needless to say, the class was a disappointment. All we did was squirt a little icing onto a cardboard circle (I was hoping REAL cake would be involved).

Devin says there is no point for me to take these classes, because he does all the baking in our house anyway! Seriously, I don't know if I've made a cake (besides angel food) since we've been married. I'm thinking I might get into making cupcakes...

Kaylee told us to each make a face about how we were feeling during the class. A picture is worth a thousand words!

"O CANADA!!" The kids are sporting their Olympic gear. I LOVE IT!! Thank you Auntie Trish and Uncle Ric!

Below: Jade and her two babies :)

Zoe is two months old!

Jade loves reading to her little sister Zoe. I love how she makes the book face Zoe (you know, so Zoe can see the pictures!)

Welcome Sadie!

Our good friends Grant and Cami had Sadie Tennant on March 8th!! We are already in love with her!!

We brought them pizza (and had a little ourselves). It was fun to see Matt and Marcela at the hospital as well :)

Jade's first time making Jello Jigglers! Happy St.Patrick's Day!

We also had an "Adults Only" party in March...so fun! Fun games, great food, hilarious friends and uninterrupted conversation! What more could a girl ask for on a Saturday night?

Zoe's Baby Blessing

On February 28th we blessed Zoe at church. Devin said she was "just glowing." My goodness, we love that little girl. So glad you joined our family Zoe!

Jade was also loving Zoe.

Thank you for the beautiful dress Grandpa Garth and Grandma Pam. Also, thank you for the adorable bracelet Auntie Julie. It completed the outfit :)

Family Picture

This is what I go through to get a decent family picture...

Please note Jade's dwindling enthusiasm.

Got one!!!
These girls are just my favorite. Every day I'm amazed at how kind Jade is with Zoe. She rocks her when she's crying, sits next to her for story-time, and dances to make her laugh.
I just love it.

Good-bye

This was a bitter-sweet night. It was great to hang out with our friends Jill and Garrett, but sad to say good-bye (Garrett has joined the army and is taking his sweet wife with him to Cali). Luckily, Jill isn't moving until July, so we get to see her frequently (she comes over for supper and then we work it off at the Y together!)

Later that night I got to enjoy "Girl's Night" with some of my favorite girls.

We baked chocolate lava cakes and talked all night. You can also see Cami "practicing" holding a little girl (she had Sadie a few weeks later).

Cutest Idea Ever!

Jade went to a birthday party where all the kids were dressed up like little chefs. They were SO cute!!

They even made their own mini pizzas! To top it all off, all the parents were ordered pizza!! FANTASTIC!! Heidi, like I always say, knows how to throw a party!

Zoe also had a great time!

Hello again!! I guess it goes without saying that I haven't blogged in a little while. For those who I haven't talked to in a while, life is going great for the Wallace family. Zoe is officially 4 months old today...time really does fly when you're having fun! We left for Canada at the end of March and didn't get back until a few weeks ago. Our trip to Canada was AMAZING (more pictures to come). The best part of the whole trip was that my sister got married to her PRINCE CHARMING, Chance Merrill. We love love love them both and can't wait to spend more time with them in the future. They are, without question, the cutest lovebirds I've ever seen.

I'm a little embarrassed to admit that this post is about my birthday (which happened nearly three months ago). Just the same, I had a FABULOUS birthday and it deserves a blog posting.

First of all, the food was FANTASTIC. We had a chocolate fondue party...yum!!

Second, the company was PERFECT. We all hung out and chatted...then we played games!!

Third, the cake was DIVINE. Devin bought me a cookies 'n' cream ice cream cake. Thank you Devo!!

Lastly, the entertainment was Top Notch. I was mocked for months over this picture. Looks like I was a little intense about blowing out my candles (please notice my flexed arm gripping the table). The irony of it all is that I only blew out 2 candles, despite my best efforts.

Chance and Amy's Slideshow

I made this slideshow for Chance and Amy's wedding reception. To view in higher quality click the facebook link on the top left of the video. Chance and Amy were married in the Cardston Alberta Temple on April 2, 2010.
